The episode being uploaded was not a mistake by the original broadcaster, and a representative for the company asked those who believe they know the result of the show to "refrain from posting potential spoilers".

The Celebrity Traitors is presently the top-rated TV show of the current year, with an average of 12.6 million viewers across the first four episodes.

Viewers of the series have been eagerly anticipating to see whether deceivers Cat Burns and Alan Carr will secure the £100,000 prize for charity or whether faithfuls Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olosuga will be triumphant.

The winner mentioned they will be settling in to view the final this evening as it airs, with all of his family and "a bucket of popcorn".

Thursday's concluding installment is lengthened to 70 minutes on the main channel, with an extended edition of The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked set to air on BBC Two after the finale.

Presenter Ed Gamble will be joined by the cast and the co-host as they react to the series conclusion.
