Louvre Art Museum Closed Following Daring Theft, France's Official Announces

During a unexpected occurrence, the prestigious art institution had to shut its doors following an audacious heist during which culprits make off with nine precious artifacts.

Information Coming to Light Concerning the Heist

While information is limited, reports indicate a trio of hooded suspects entered the gallery soon after it opened this morning.

The suspects allegedly employed a construction elevator that was installed for in-progress restoration work to enter the historic Apollo Gallery, located facing the Seine River area.

Target: The French Crown Jewels
